Cheap Royal Caribbean Cruises
Cheap Royal Caribbean Cruises - They can boast about having the largest cruise ship, until the next Largest Cruise Ship in World eases into the sea.
Largest Cruise Ship
The Royal Caribbean Cruises - Freedom of the Seas, new in 2006, weighs in at 154,000 tons. The ship's 1,815 guest staterooms can comfortably house 3,630 as couples, 4,375 individuals if all the auxiliary beds are activated. The main dining room is tri-level and seats 2,101 passengers. The main pool, can handle as many as 500 people.
June 2009 - The largest cruise ship in the world is about to get bigger. When it launched almost a hundred years ago, the Titanic was the largest ship afloat. By today’s standard, it would barely qualify as a life boat for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line - They will soon drop it's newest monster cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, into the water.
So just how big is it? To give it some perspective, the Titanic weighed in at 46,328 tons. The Pacific Princess (best known as TV’s Love Boat) weighed 19,903 tons. The Oasis of the Seas thunders onto the scene at a hefty 220,000 tons.
After more than three years of intense planning, it’s exciting to see Oasis entering its final stages. Freedom of the Seas, currently the largest ship in the world-- 40 percent smaller than Oasis.
Royal Carribean Cruise Lines is expecting the Oasis to be a big hit and has already started construction on it’s sister ship, the Allure of the Seas. Oasis will sail in November 2009 from her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Review
Royal Caribbean Cruise Review - "Monarch of the Seas cruise ship is probably under rated. We really had no complaints. The food was really good and fresh. Rooms were clean and adequate size. We did'nt really try any onboard activities. Atlantis was great and CoCo Cay was great."
"Overall a great and good experience. The food was mediocre. It was very plain and the Windjammer quality was fair. Rooms were great. Acivities - lots of them! Very well organized. All in all, we had a great time."
Royal Caribbean Cruise Review - "This was our first cruise ever, so we really have no first-hand comparisons, but we LOVED THIS CRUISE! We booked the Jewel of the Seas about a year in advance, in celebration of our 10-year anniversary and were not disappointed.
We saw some of the best shows we have seen and the entertainers were so talented. The food was amazing and the amount you could eat was impressive, I gained 5 pounds in 4 days. This cruise exceeded our expectations in every way and we can't wait to go cruising with Royal Caribbean again soon."
