Cruise Tips
Parking
Cruise Tips - This one might seem obvious to most people. But, if you are leaving your car at the airport or cruise parking lot, write a note reminding yourself where you parked it. Trust me, after a long trip you may be glad that note is in your purse or wallet.
Whatever type of vacation you are planning, before booking, make sure to read

Ear Plugs
Ear plugs come in handy for sleeping on an airplane, they also work for sleeping on a cruise ship. They allow you to sleep through all the noise that happens in the corridors, from the ship's engines and from the other cabins.
Cruise With Your Age Group
An older crowd will normally go on the colder cruises, like
Alaskan Cruises.
The longer cruises have mostly older passengers also. Younger passengers usually can't afford longer cruises and they don't have vacation time to take them. Three and four day cruises are party cruises and typically have a younger crowd. Caribbean Cruises seem to be a mix of younger and older passengers. Two day cruises to nowhere are very popular with the younger party crowd. If you are looking for an older crowd, look for longer voyages especially in colder climates. If you want to party with a younger crowd, look for shorter voyages in warmer climates.
Booking An Island Tour
If you are thinking of booking an Island Tour. You could get off the ship, go to a safe area right by where the ship is docked and find a nice tour guide that will show you around. This will save you a lot of money and with any luck, you'll get more for your money. They'll spend more time with you and you wont be on a bus with a hundred other people. We have good luck and a good time doing this. Some might feel better going with a more organized group from the ship. Ship to shore excursions are great for going to attractions far from the pier. They are the safest way to visit a third-world country where language and customs may be too much of a barrier. Trust me, you wont want to stay on the ship once you're there.
Open Seating For Dinner
Cruise Tips - Many cruise ships still feature traditional seating for dinner, with assigned times and tables. However, more cruise lines today have open seating for dinner, which means you can dine when you like and at different tables. Since today's cruise ships also include alternative dining venues, you can vary your restaurant choices along with who you dine with. Try
Norwegian Cruise Lines
if you want casual and open seating for dinner.
Go It On Your Own
Cruise Tips - If you're trying not to spend to much money on excursions, you might want to walk around the city or town, shop or go to the beach. Be sure to secure your money and go it on your own. This is great for getting away from the crowds. Thanks for reading our cruise tips and visiting our Web site. Please take advantage of our cheap family vacations and great cruise deals.
