At the Maui Beaches it's 75 degrees, clear and sunny. As I'm writing this here in Atlanta, Georgia it's 35 degrees and rainy. If you've ever watched a sunrise on the Hawaiian beaches of Maui, you know how beautiful a sunrise can be. It's been years since I've been to Maui. It's still true what they say, "Maui does not disappoint". This is one of the most beautiful places on earth and some of the most beautiful on earth. Below are our top things to do in maui.

Many locals and regulars would vote for Maui Beaches, which often gets rated as the best island in the world for lots of reasons – best honeymoon island, most beautiful island, best island for snorkeling, diving, surfing and even best for sitting on the Hawaiian beaches and whale-watching. is Maui Beaches.A must see is the 10,000 foot Haleakala Crater, an active, but not currently erupting volcano. It stretches across east Maui and is part of Haleakala national park. At almost 10,000 feet above sea level the visitors center is the best place to watch a sunrise or sunset.
If swimming under waterfalls, hiking through craters, watching the sunset from 10,000 feet and lounging on white red and even black-sand beaches sounds like paradise, then Maui is where to go on your next Hawaii Vacations. Things to do in Maui have to include surfing and windsurfing and this little island is second to none for both. Hop a catamaran to scuba and snorkel on Molokini Island, a crater emerging from the sea that hosts a wealth of marine life. Golf, fine dining, a winery and sipping a mai tai on the beach round out the perfect tropical vacation. The kids will love it in Hawaii, there's so much to enjoy for the whole family. 
An under-appreciated part of the Islands is the history of Hawaii. In the town of Lahaina, don't miss the Lahaina Historic Trail. This is a self guided tour. The once first capitol of the kingdom of Hawaii, a busy whaling port and a plantation settlement, you can still literally walk in the footsteps of Lahaina's past today. Located on the Southside of Maui, Big Beach is one what most people call the best that Maui has to offer. You'll find a mile of perfect orange and white sand, cliffy landscape, and water that's a brilliant greenish blue. There's a reef a short way out which makes the ocean floor shine up through the water to give it that tropical brightness. You feel like you're walking on the clouds in Maui.
